Caring for Ferndale’s Pets for More Than 80 Years
For the hundreds of pets that have walked through the doors of Whatcom Veterinary Hospital over the years, we’ve provided nothing but high-quality veterinary care. The same is true today, more than 80 years after our inception. We know how important your four-legged friend is to you, and we want to give him the same compassionate care that YOU do. That’s why we offer a wide range of veterinary services with your pet’s well-being and comfort at the forefront. Located in Ferndale, WA, we proudly welcome dogs and cats in and around the Ferndale, Bellingham, and the Whatcom County area, so if you’re looking for a new vet, we hope you’ll choose us!
About Our Facility
Whatcom Veterinary Hospital was founded in the 1930s and began offering a number of veterinary services to the Whatcom County community. As clientele grew, the need for a larger space prompted a reconstruction process in 1975. Our hospital now stands as a 4,300 square-foot facility and shares the same roof as the YMCA. In 1992 ownership transferred to Dr. Don Aupperlee, the leading veterinarian. He and the other doctors, along with their support staff, go the extra mile to create an atmosphere that is both warm and accommodating for pets and people. After all, pets are family, and they should be welcomed as family.
